We are just 2 mins off Route 2, The Mohawk Trail, in the village of Shelburne Falls within the town of Shelburne, MA. We are just 3 minutes from the village center, 14 minutes from I-91 in Greenfield, MA and 20 minutes from Route 9 in Goshen, MA.
Is Catamount Storage, LLC safe and secure?
Our facility is always safe and secure with 24-hour video monitoring, coded gate entry, and perimeter fencing.
Am I able to pay my storage bill online?
Yes, you can pay your monthly storage bill online using a debit or credit card. Create an account online and sign in when your bill is due. Visit the "Pay Online" page of our website.

What size storage units do you offer?
Whatever your self storage needs are, Catamount Storage has just the right option for you. We offer the following sizes:
Climate controlled units: 5x10, 5x15, 10x10 and 10x15.
Standard units: 5x10, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20, 10x25, 10x30, and our largest units 12x30 w/ a 10” tall door!

Do you sell locks?
We certainly do! In fact, we have tons of locks for sale in the office retail space, different sizes and multiple types. Take a look at our "Retail Supplies" page or give us a call for specifics and prices.

Do you offer outdoor storage for vehicles and equipment?
Stay Tuned! We hope to have outdoor storage space coming in 2021.

Can my moving company deliver my belongings to my storage unit?
Yes they can. As long as you have already rented the unit and signed the lease agreement, you can have moving and shipping companies deliver your items to your storage unit. We can even provide a lock and secure the unit when they leave, for an additional fee. NOTE: At this time tractor and trailer type delivery trucks will have limited access to our facility due their length and space needed to maneuver. Please give us a call to make sure the delivery vehicle can park in or around our facility.

What hours can I access my storage unit or space?
You’ll have full access to your unit or space during gate hours from 6am to 10pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

What are the office hours at Catamount Storage?
Office hours are by appointment only. Please call or email to set up an appointment.

What if I need to speak with a manager after office hours or in case of an emergency?
Our emergency number is displayed on the fence next to the gate at our facility. We hope to be able to handle all regular business during office hours. In the case of an emergency at our facility, please call 911 and or the emergency contact number listed on the fence next to the gate (both inside and out). It is also displayed on the wall outside the doors to the climate controlled space in the Ashfield building.
PLEASE NOTE: NO AFTER GATE HOURS ACCESS WILL BE GRANTED BY CALLING THE EMERGENCY NUMBER UNLESS IT IS A POLICE, FIRE, OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY.

Do you sell moving supplies?
We certainly do! We have a retail space inside our office building, come on in to see our full line of supplies for packing, moving, and storing. It includes everything from boxes and locks to bubble wrap and tape. You can also check out a full list of items for sale by visiting our "Retail Supplies" page. Everything we offer is competitively priced.

Can you recommend a moving company?

When is rent due for my storage unit or space?
Rent is due on the 1st of every month regardless of when your contract was signed. First months rent and all applicable fees are due on signing day/first day of rental. Please call for information on our late fees and the lien process.

Do I get my security deposit back?
Assuming all contractual obligations have been met, including but not limited to leaving the unit swept clean and undamaged... Yes you will get your security deposit back at the termination of the lease. Please allow 14 business days for processing your deposit refund.

How do I get to your facility?
From East and West: Follow the signs for Route 112 North toward Colrain from Route 2 in Shelburne. Turn on to Mechanic Street from Route 2, then take an immediate right on to Hope Street, then another immediate right on to Main Street. You are now less than 1 mile and under a 2 min drive to our location.
From Bridge Street in Shelburne Falls Village: Take Main Street North towards Colrain. In just a 3 min drive, and just over 1 mile you’ll reach our location. 

What type of amenities does your facility offer?
Our amenities are what sets us apart from all the other self storage facilities in the area.
-Our soon to be solar powered facility will power itself!
-We have a secure gated facility only accessible to people renting storage space, each customer has a unique PIN number to allow access to the front gate and the climate controlled building.
-We have some of the largest storage units in the area. Our 5 “contractor’s” size units are 12”x30” with a 10” door! Big enough for a full size RV!
-Our facility is paved from the road all the way to the back of the lot, so you don’t have to worry about driving or walking through mud to get to your storage unit.
-We’re more than just storage, we have a full line of retail items for all of your packing, moving and storing needs.

How old do I have to be to rent a storage unit or space?
You must be 18 to rent from us, and that’s because the Commonwealth of Massachusetts says you have to be 18 to sign a contract or lease.

Can I access my storage unit or space after gate hours?
We encourage you to do any and all business you have in your storage unit or space during gate hours of 6am-10pm, 7 days a week. Any after hours exceptions must be made with a manger during normal office hours.
PLEASE NOTE: NO AFTER GATE HOURS ACCESS WILL BE GRANTED BY CALLING THE EMERGENCY NUMBER UNLESS IT IS A POLICE, FIRE, OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY.

Do I have to have insurance for the items I am storing?
The short answer is that you should. All items being stored should be covered by some type of insurance policy for peace of mind. You can purchase self storage insurance for a nominal monthly fee through MiniCo Insurance, or you can provide us with proof that the items are covered by another policy like your homeowners or auto insurance policy.

What is climate controlled?
Climate control is a feature we offer in one of our buildings. The units inside this building are heated or cooled and dehumidified to protect your stored items from the extreme temperature changes and weather outside.

Drive up units vs. inside units?
A drive up unit is accessible from the outside of the building, it has a roll up door that you will allow you to load and unload your items directly to and from a vehicle. 
Our inside, or climate controlled units, are only accessable via a common hallway with a large "handicap size" door for entry to the hallway.
